Intelligence officers of the Air Assault Troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed the engineering unit of the Russian invaders

The Ukrainian Defense Forces neutralized a military unit of the Russian invasion army.

This was stated by the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Ukrainian paratroopers destroyed an engineering unit of the Russian army in one of the areas of defense.

“In one of the mission areas, the reconnaissance officers of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine had successfully destroyed an engineer unit of the Russian invaders.

We continue fighting and destroying the enemies of Ukraine,” read the statement of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces.

During the battle, an MT-LB multi-purpose armored tracked vehicle transporting the enemy personnel was damaged.

Several servicemen of the Russian invasion forces were also killed in the battle.

The armored tracked vehicle and special equipment, including a minesweeper, were seized by the Ukrainian servicemen.

Previously, Lviv paratroopers neutralized a platoon of the 104th Guards Air Assault Regiment of the RF Armed Forces from the Pskov region of Russia.

Ukrainian servicemen reported that due to the coordinated work of the artillery units of the 80th Separate Air Assault Brigade of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces, the Russian invaders were eliminated in one of the areas of defense.

Upon the fire from the Ukrainian artillery, several units of Russian BMD-2 armored vehicles were destroyed or severely damaged. Up to twenty invaders were reportedly killed.

A platoon of the 104th Guards Air Assault Regiment of the 76th Guards Air Assault Division of the Airborne Forces of the Russian Federation was neutralized.
