The Ukrainian defense-tech company General Cherry has introduced the new Khmarynka strike drone with a payload of up to 7 kg.
The company’s press service shared this with Militarnyi.
The manufacturer positions the new aircraft-type kamikaze drone as a low-cost, mass-produced solution for striking targets at tactical depth.
Khamrynka’s maximum flight range is up to 50 km, and its endurance is up to 60 minutes.
According to the manufacturer, the drone is currently capable of carrying a payload of up to 7 kilograms. Maximum speed is 140 km/h. The design has a wingspan of 196 cm, a length of 153 cm, and a height of 33 cm.
Khmarynka is launched using a catapult, allowing rapid deployment in field conditions without special infrastructure.
By its class and purpose, Khmarynka is a response to systems used by Russian invasion forces for strikes in the gray zone, reconnaissance, and logistics. The main focus during development was low cost and the ability to scale production.
The company noted that the drone is positioned as a tool for the systematic depletion of enemy air defense and the destruction of armored vehicles, vehicles, warehouses, and shelters with infantry, among other targets.
Khmarynka has already completed a full cycle of internal and field tests. The drone is now ready for mass production.
To receive feedback from the military, the company is transferring the first batch of 150 drones to the Ukrainian Defense Forces free of charge.
The Khmarynka kamikaze drone will soon be available to order on the Brave1 Market marketplace.
Visually, the domestic drone repeats the Russian Molniya in design. It lacks a fuselage as such. Instead, it has a wooden center section and two tubes as load-bearing elements, a forward arrangement of engines on the wings, and a battery and warhead installed above the center section in the nose.
