Croatia presented Ukraine with a DOK-ING MV-4 mine clearance system

At the Globsec Forum international conference, Croatia presented Ukraine with a certificate for the DOK-ING MV-4 mine clearance system.

The certificate was presented by Ivan Anušić, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of the Republic of Croatia, and the executives of the manufacturing company.

Thanks to this certificate, Ukraine will be able to receive one DOK-ING MV-4 mine clearance system.

DOK-ING MV-4 is a light category mine clearance and EOD robotic system.

The hull and structures can withstand the detonation of mines and ammunition. The effectiveness of MV-4 has been tested in real combat conditions. The system has replaceable tools that allow it to perform a wide range of tasks to prepare the territory.

This system is used for mechanical soil preparation and demining, mechanical inspection and cleaning of the territory, search for buried objects, etc.

According to the Croatian politician, this system will help Ukraine to increase the scale of demining, which is currently to be carried out on 26% of Ukraine’s territory.

“Mine clearance is a huge task, and international support is very much needed. Ukraine is not alone, we will work together as long as necessary,” the politician added.

Militarnyi previously reported that Ukraine had received six mine clearance vehicles from Japan, which were being deployed in Ukraine.

In total, Japan will donate 22 mine clearance vehicles modernized by the Japanese company Nikken to the needs of sapper teams.

It should be noted that in addition to the transfer of this equipment, Japan also provides training for Ukrainian specialists.

The training takes place at the Cambodian Mine Action Center.
