119th Territorial Defense Brigade Repels Motorized Assault in Sumy Region

On the morning of May 3, in the area of responsibility of the 119th Territorial Defense Brigade, Ukrainian forces repelled a motorized enemy assault in the Sumy region.

During the counterattack, Ukrainian defenders eliminated 18 enemy soldiers, according to posts by the Chernihiv unit on social media.

The operation’s success was supported by the 419th Unmanned Systems Battalion and the 120th Reconnaissance Regiment.

Additionally, members of the 1st Border Service Department’s Prime Strike Drone Company targeted the enemy’s personnel and equipment.

Overall, the defense forces managed to destroy eight quad bikes and two motorcycles used by the invaders.

It is worth noting that during the first two days of May, units of the Unmanned Systems Forces struck two air defense systems, the Pantsir-S1 and the Tor, as well as two P-18 radars in temporarily occupied territories.

Long-range drones, coordinated by the Deep Strike Center of the Unmanned Systems Forces, struck enemy targets in Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Luhansk regions.
