In September 2026, the Ukrainian Defense Forces intensified their strikes on targets deep within Russian rear areas and set a record for the number of air defense systems and radar stations destroyed since the inception of the e-Points (e-Baly) program.

This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

By the end of September, 33,087 invaders had been confirmed killed — a figure surpassed only in March and April 2026.

A notable achievement in September was the highest number of Russian air defense systems, particularly radar stations, destroyed since the program’s inception. The destruction of one Russian air defense system at a distance of 552 km was also recorded.

In September, the number of confirmed target strikes at distances exceeding 20 km from the front line exceeded 11,000 for the first time.

The number of strikes at a depth of over 50 km also set a record. A significant portion of these attacks targeted the Mariupol-Crimea logistics route, which Russian troops use to supply their forces in southern Ukraine.

The program’s results indicate a gradual shift in combat operations from the immediate front lines to the enemy’s rear areas.

Every result within the program is recorded on video in the DELTA combat system and verified by the Brave1 defense innovation cluster.

The e-Points system works as follows: confirmed strikes are uploaded to DELTA, after that units receive points that they can spend on equipment on the Brave1 Market. Since March, military personnel have also been allowed to exchange e-Points for equipment components.

The overall trend toward an increase in Ukrainian strikes behind enemy lines is clearly evident in individual operations as well. In September, the Unmanned Systems Forces, in particular, struck dozens of energy facilities in the occupied territories.

To systematize such operations, Militarnyi launched the Deep Strike map in September, which tracks strikes on military, industrial, energy, and other targets in Russia and the occupied territories.

Another notable development in September was the increased effectiveness of Ukrainian air defense against attack drones.

Despite Russia’s increased use of jet-powered UAVs, Ukrainian units shot down 28% more Shahed-type drones in September than in the previous month.

At the same time, specialized interceptor drones are playing an increasingly important role in combating such targets. In May, the share of Shaheds shot down by these drones reached 40%. Since the beginning of September, the Defense Forces have neutralized about 55% of Russian Geran jet-powered drones.
