The Ukrainian military destroyed a large convoy of Russian vehicles using drones near the border in the Kursk region.

Videos of numerous strikes have been released online.

Aerial reconnaissance of the 53rd Mechanized Brigade and the 103rd Territorial Defense Brigade detected a large number of Russian military vehicles moving in a single convoy along a road three kilometers from the border with the Sumy region.

The 15-vehicle convoy consisted mostly of KAMAZ and Ural army trucks and semi-trailers.

Soldiers of the Aerial Reconnaissance Group “Malibu” of the 53rd Brigade and Wings to Hell from the 103rd Brigade hit the lead and closing vehicles of the convoy, and then began to methodically hit the rest of the vehicles using FPV drones.

After the first strikes, the Russian military tried to disperse the equipment and drove off the main road under the cover of trees. However, the military managed to hit or completely burn at least eight vehicles of the Russian convoy.

According to the interface on some of the footage, target reconnaissance and strike coordination were carried out using a Ukrainian Shark reconnaissance drone.

The report says that some of the vehicles managed to leave the ambush, avoiding drone strikes.

Militarnyi managed to geolocate the place where the Russian convoy stopped before the attack (here) in the Sudzhansky district of the Kursk region of the Russian Federation. It is located just three kilometers from the border with Ukraine.

Previously, the Ukrainian military searched for and hit important military targets in the area.

In particular, in May, on the border with the Sumy region, three launchers [1, 2] of the Russian Buk-M1 anti-aircraft system were detected and destroyed, which were on combat duty and monitoring the airspace of Ukraine.

Attacks on Russian air defense systems were carried out using Ukrainian RAM II loitering munitions.
