Ukrainian Strike on Lgov Kills Deputy Commander of Russia’s 810th Marine Brigade

The Ukrainian Defense Forces have eliminated the deputy commander of the 810th Marine Brigade of the Russian Federation.

This became known from a post shared by the sister of the deceased in the 810th Brigade’s VKontakte group.

The deceased deputy commander of the 810th Marine Brigade, who was at the command post in the city of Lgov, Kursk oblast, at the time of the attack, was Salim Pashtov.

The strike on the command center was also confirmed by the local Telegram channel of the city of Lgov. According to this channel, all local residents knew about the command center’s location.

According to the Telegram channel War_home, there were other Russian military personnel in the building with Pashtov, seven of whom died as a result of the strike.

These were probably the brigade’s officers who were in charge of managing the units and issuing orders.

It should be noted that the city is located 28 kilometers from the state border of Ukraine, which puts it within the range of both cannon and rocket artillery.

The use of high-precision artillery shells allows for precise strikes on enemy control points and locations of personnel and barracks in this area.

Previously, Militarnyi reported that the aviation of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine carried out a bomb attack on the personnel of the Russian FSB in the village of Tiotkino, Kursk oblast. The bomb pierced the wall of the building and detonated. As a result of the strike, the facility was completely destroyed.

The strike hit the facility, which is located on Komsomolskaya Street, at coordinates 51.26959, 34.28507.

It was reported that the damage was caused by French-made AASM bombs.

In addition, at the end of November 2024, it was reported that the Air Force launched a massive strike on the command post of Russian troops in the village of Maryino, Kursk oblast.

The strike took place on November 20. It was carried out by soldiers of the consolidated detachment of the 78th separate airborne assault regiment “Dzhmil” and the crew of the “Harpoon” of the 413th Separate Battalion.
