The T-64B1M tanks engaged in combat with the russians on the streets of Mariupol

In the combats in Mariupol, Ukrainian defenders used modernized T-64B1M tanks against the Russian occupiers.

The tanks belong to the Ukrainian tank company of the Azov Special Operations Unit.

The press center of the National Guard of Ukraine reported the destruction of armored vehicles of Russian forces.

“During the battle on the streets of Mariupol, 4 tanks and several units of enemy armored vehicles were destroyed,” the Azov Regiment said.

The Azov Special Operations Battalion uses tanks of Ukrainian modernization T-64B1M in battles.

The T-64B1M main battle tank is a Ukrainian upgrade of the T-64B1 tanks, developed by the Kharkiv Armored Plant.
