The Russian ferry is on fire in the Kavkaz port after the explosion

After the explosion, a large-scale fire broke out in the Russian port of Kavkaz in Kuban.

Russian invaders claimed to have hit a railway ferry with fuel tanks.

Traditionally, they accused Ukraine of striking at the territory of the Russian Federation.

Eyewitnesses publish photos and videos of a massive column of black smoke and flames rising on the Taman Peninsula from the area of the Kavkaz port, located opposite temporarily occupied Crimea.

The CONRO TRADER ferry, which was the only large ferry operating between Kerch and Russia, was probably hit.

As a result of the fire, fuel tanks on the Russian ferry started to explode.

Also, according to the monitoring Telegram channel Crimean Wind, the Russian invaders have set off the alarm in military units in Sevastopol.

In addition, the Russian invaders blocked the Kerch Bridge.

Emergency and special services are currently working at the fire scene in the Kavkaz port. The area of the fire and information about possible victims are being clarified.

It is worth noting that this is not the first time the Russian ferry CONRO TRADER has been attacked. The previous time, it was hit by an ATACMS ballistic missile on the night of May 30, near the berth of the Kerch Sea Fishing Port.

The Russians actively used it to support their grouping of troops on the peninsula.

At the time, the CONRO TRADER suffered non-critical damage. The images released then showed damage to the side and burn marks on the deck.
