The Head of Luhansk Regional Military Administration calls on residents to evacuate as soon as possible

Serhiy Haidai, Head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, appealed to the region’s residents not to delay their evacuation.

He published the appeal on his Facebook page.

“Don’t wait out. You have to be leaving! Today, almost 1,000 people have been evacuated from the Luhansk region. I keep asking you to make the decision sooner, the time to go to safety had come! Save your children!”, he wrote.

Serhiy Haidai also stated that for those staying in the region several tons of humanitarian aid, including food, medicine, and hygiene products would be delivered.

Patrol police are delivering the necessary goods to the bomb shelters.

On April 4, almost 1,000 people had evacuated from the Luhansk region. Together with the police, religious organizations, and volunteers, 452 residents left Lysychansk, 136 people left Kreminna, 22 people left Rubizhne, 117 left the Hirske Community, and 244 residents left Sievierodonetsk.

Previously, the Ukrainian partners in the West expressed their belief that the Russian invaders plan to strengthen their positions in the Donbas and the Southern direction.
