Soldiers of the K-2 Battalion repulsed an assault and destroyed Russian infantry

Soldiers of the K-2 Battalion of the 54th Separate Mechanized Brigade repulsed a Russian assault in one of the frontline areas.

The Russians used motorcyclists, armored vehicles and infantry.

The uncensored video of the battle was posted by the unit’s press service on its telegram channel.

Before the assault on Ukrainian positions, the Russian command sent its sappers on motorcycles to clear the area where the armored vehicles were to passage.

However, the enemy sappers were immediately detected by aerial reconnaissance. They were met with fire from the infantrymen of the K-2 Battalion, along with UAV operators who were dropping bombs on the invaders.

Next, an enemy MT-LB with troops moved toward the Ukrainian positions, which the Ukrainian infantry burned at close range using grenade launchers.

In addition, Ukrainian defenders fired at the enemy infantry with small arms and drones.

The group of occupiers got into the Ukrainian trenches, found themselves under fire from machine guns, and drone shells fell on their heads.

“Once in our trench, the Russian troops could have realized that they had entered the very kill zone, a trap prepared for them in advance, but it was too late,” the K-2 Battalion of the 54th Brigade emphasized.

After the unsuccessful assault, some Russian invaders tried to escape, and Ukrainian drones with ordnance were used to destroy them.

Recently, the Ukrainian military destroyed a Russian ammunition depot, which they had converted into a high-rise building in the village of Ocheretyne, the Donetsk region.

It is likely that the Russians stored a large number of artillery shells or other ammunition there. The powerful explosion, which was captured on a Ukrainian reconnaissance drone camera, completely destroyed the building.
