Satellite images of the result of strikes on the Belbek airfield over the past two days appeared.

Militarnyi reported about this.

The images had been published on Telegram channel Radio Liberty on the evening of May 16, 2024.

The satellite images shown several hits sites:

For convenience, the animation is divided into photos before and after the strike. At least noticeably four points of impact:

Three of the four points are aircraft parking lots, the fourth is a depot. As previously reported, before the large-scale combined strike, which took place from May 14 to 15, the Russian squadron of Su-27 fighters, a pair of Su-35 fighters and MiG-31 interceptors was based at the facility (not to be confused with MiG-31K ballistic missiles carriers).

Satellite images shown show that some of them were probably damaged or destroyed. Russian resources in public posts were voiced as damaged/destroyed by two MiG-31 interceptors, a S-400 SAM and a depot with fuels and lubricants.

Regarding the S-400 there is a photo of the destroyed radar and the unknown condition of a launcher of the system:

“May 15 at about 23:00… with the use of American ATACMS tactical missiles at objects in the Russian Federation. Five operational tactical missiles were destroyed over the territory of the Republic of Crimea by the next air defense means,” a Russian statement said.

As previously reported, the locations of the Russian invasion forces on the captured peninsula were fired on the last two days – May 15 and 16, 2024.
