Canadian company Calian Group and Ukrainian company SkyFall have announced a strategic partnership focused on unmanned systems training.
The collaboration aims to enhance the training and operational readiness of military personnel from Canada, NATO countries, and allied nations, SkyFall shared with Militarnyi.
The partnership will combine SkyFall Academy’s training capabilities with Calian’s expertise in military education, simulation, and combat readiness.
Under the agreement, the two parties will jointly develop and implement unmanned systems training programs.
The partnership will involve two-way exchange expertise, with the Ukrainian side providing technological and operational capabilities.
Canada’s Calian will leverage its expertise in developing, integrating, and implementing large-scale NATO training and simulation programs.
Over the past three years, SkyFall Academy has trained more than 30,000 Ukrainian military personnel.
Calian, meanwhile, has trained more than 300,000 military personnel over the past four decades.
“Ukraine has demonstrated how quickly unmanned systems, tactics, and countermeasures can evolve in modern warfare,” Patrick Houston, CEO of the Canadian company, said.
As previously reported, SkyFall’s P1-SUN interceptor drones and the Bullet interceptor from General Chereshnya were integrated into the Ukrainian Fight Drone Simulator.
SkyFall and Poland’s Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego also signed a memorandum on attracting EU funding to support Ukrainian defense technologies.
Within the agreement, the parties will explore potential cooperation on projects that could receive financing from BGK under the European Commission’s Ukraine Facility, Pillar II.
