Russian troops launched the Iskander missile on Sloviansk

During the night, the invaders launched the Iskander missile system on Sloviansk in the Donetsk region. As a result of the shelling, seven high-rise buildings and a school were damaged.

This was stated by the Donetsk Regional Military Administration.

Three people were killed, and six were injured.

Rescue services are working on the scene.

The victims were taken to Sloviansk and Kramatorsk medical institutions.

“This is yet another war crime on our land. The whole territory of the Donetsk region is now a battleground. Every civilian who remains in the region is a target for the Russians,” stated the Donetsk Regional Military Administration.

The National Police of Ukraine reported that the invaders used the Iskander missile system.

City residents were also urged to evacuate.

The General Staff reported that on the Sloviansk front, Russia’s main efforts are focused on maintaining its current positions and supply routes and creating favorable conditions to resume an offensive.

The invaders shelled civilian infrastructure in and around Dovhenke, Virnopillia, Hrushuvakha, and Velyka Komyshuvakha.

Russian forces made an unsuccessful attempt to charge the village of Dovhenke but were forced to retreat to their previously occupied positions.

As previously reported, Roman Vlasenko, Head of the Sievierodonetsk District Administration reported the invaders to have control of a large part of Sievierodonetsk. Fighting is ongoing in the central part of the city, and there is no evacuation possibility.

Yesterday, the Ministry of Defense stressed that the main goal of the enemy is to establish full control over the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. The battles in Donbas have reached the maximum intensity.
