A Russian Geran-5 drone crashed a few hundred meters from the Yagodin border crossing on the Polish-Ukrainian border.
This was reported on air by TVN24 by Jacek Goriszewski, a representative of the Polish Armed Forces Operational Command.
The Yagodin border crossing in the Volyn region is the busiest border crossing with Poland in terms of traffic volume.
It has recently been targeted twice by Russian attacks.
On September 17, a drone crashed approximately four kilometers from the Polish border near Yagodin.
Poland and its allies scrambled fighter jets, and two airports temporarily suspended operations. Prime Minister Donald Tusk stated that the target was likely a gas station on the Ukrainian side.
On September 13, a drone attacked a locomotive of a passenger train in the Volyn region, two kilometers from the border with Poland.
