Satellite images of the damaged Russian Project 20380 corvette Boikiy have appeared online.

SkySat imagery obtained by Militarnyi shows smoke and signs of a large-scale fire on the ship’s superstructure.

On the morning of June 3, Ukrainian drones struck a Russian corvette at the Kronstadt naval base in St. Petersburg. At the time of the attack, the vessel was in the Veleshchinsky dry dock. The ship had undergone scheduled repairs in February 2026.

Video footage indicates that the corvette was hit by at least two Ukrainian strike drones. A fire subsequently broke out aboard the vessel, with smoke visible from several kilometers away, according to local residents who witnessed the attack.

To assess the possible consequences, it is worth comparing the incident with the December 17, 2021 fire aboard the Project 20385 corvette Provorny, a modified version of Project 20380. Following that fire, Russian authorities said restoration would take five years.
