Russia is demonstratively setting up a “line of defense” in the Belgorod region

The Russian Federation started building fortifications in the Belgorod region.

Vyacheslav Gladkov, Head of the Russian region, and the media affiliated with PMC Wagner reported this.

The photos and videos show that the Russians are unloading concrete anti-tank embankments. They are being laid out in two lines at a distance of 2-3 meters away from each other without being buried in the ground.

Andrey Bogatov, a militant of the PMC Wagner, is in charge of the process.

According to him, this will be a continuation of the “Wagner line”, which the invaders are building in the Luhansk and Donetsk regions. He insists that this should become an echelon defense and that several such lines will be constructed.

It is worth noting that the visualization by the PMC Wagner on Ukrainian territory creates the impression that the Russians plan to maintain defense outside the borders of the northern Luhansk region. The invaders are allegedly building fortifications along the Siverskyi Donets river. To a large extent, this line of defense repeats the demarcation line that existed between the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Russians before February 24, 2022.
