Kyiv mayor Klitschko gives UAT-T COBRA armored vehicle to the TDF unit

Charitable Foundation “Ukrainian Team” and Volodymyr Klitschko have handed over the new armored vehicle UAT-T COBRA to the Territorial Defence Forces.

UAT-T COBRA entered service with the 204th Separate Territorial Defense Battalion.

“It was such an armored vehicle that the soldiers of the 204th Battalion asked for when last time we brought them Mavic reconnaissance drones,” the benefactors said.

Volodymyr Klitschko became aware of the needs of the Battalion and assisted in purchasing a Ukrainian-made armored vehicle.

He also handed over reconnaissance drones to the soldiers and thanked the “Ukrainian Team” for their joint work.

UAT-T COBRA armored vehicles are manufactured by the newly launched Ukrainian defense company UkrArmoTech.

“This armored vehicle is made in Ukraine. It is we Ukrainians who make it. And we do it fast. And, by the way, there are a lot of cool features in this vehicle,” said Volodymyr Klitschko.

UkrArmoTech company offers UAT-D GYURZA, UAT-T COBRA and UAT-F armored vehicles on the market.

Armored vehicles are made on a wheelbase from the world automakers such as Toyota, Ford and Dodge.

The manufacturer claims to be able to produce vehicles of any level of protection and internal configuration. In addition, it is possible to convert the vehicle to use with any type of weapons.

The transferred UAT-T COBRA armored vehicle, which is created on the Toyota 79 wheelbase, accommodates 10 people and can protect the soldiers from automatic gun fire, mines and ambushes.

“All-wheel drive, 195 hp (reinforced to 240 hp) at 3,300 rpm, mechanical turret, В6 level of armor protection – all Ukrainian-made, high quality, [with the use of] foreign components,” the manufacturer emphasizes.
