The Ukrainian Air Force, in cooperation with the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Navy, carried out a powerful attack on Russian military facilities in Crimea.

Russian media reported on this.

Due to a prolonged night attack using Storm Shadow/SCALP EG cruise missiles, many ground and surface targets were hit.

The important naval targets included the Yamal and Azov landing ships near Cape Fiolent.

It should be noted that the ships were used by the Russians to transport military equipment and supplies to the peninsula.

Another target was the naval communication hub and infrastructure facilities of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, including the permanent deployment point of the 810th Separate Marine Brigade of the Russian Federation.

According to Mikhail Razvozhaev, governor of Sevastopol, this was the most massive attack in recent times.

He also claimed that during the attack, Russian air defense systems shot down more than 10 cruise missiles.

It should be noted that a powerful explosion was heard in the area of Kozacha Bay when the missile arrived.

It was related to the destruction of a warehouse with missile and artillery weapons used by a Russian marine brigade.

It should be pointed out that military facilities located in Crimea are legitimate targets for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

First and foremost, these are airfields used by enemy aircraft to strike Ukrainian cities and civilian infrastructure.
