Ukrainian FP-1 drones struck Russia’s largest oil refinery in the Omsk region.
Footage of the strikes was published by the Telegram channel Exilenova+.
The FP-1 UAVs traveled over 2,500 km to reach the facility.
The refinery processes about 22 million metric tons of crude oil per year. The refinery produces about 50 types of petroleum products, including high-octane automotive gasoline AI-92 and AI-95 (it is the largest producer of automotive gasoline in the Russian Federation), TS-1 and RT aviation kerosene, marine fuel, and various lubricants. In addition, the company is the only one in Russia that manufactures catalysts for secondary refining at other oil refineries.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed the strikes and noted that striking such targets is Ukraine’s exercise of its right to self-defense.
After the strikes in Omsk, lines began to form at gas stations.
The governor of the Omsk region called on the public not to stand in lines for gasoline.
“I ask the residents of our region not to create artificial panic at gas stations and to remain calm!” wrote Vitaliy Khotsenko.
The Omsk oil refinery had already been hit on July 6, 2026.
At that time, the Ukrainian military struck the ELOU-AVT-11 primary oil refining unit, which had a design capacity of 8.4 million metric tons of oil per year.
