According to NASA’s FIRMS monitoring service, Ukrainian attack drones targeted the Semykolodyaz Oil Depot in the village of Yedy-Kuyu, Kerch district, in temporarily occupied Crimea.
The strike was conducted during the night of June 6–7, 2026, with a fire detected at 02:31 a.m. at the coordinates 45.299289, 35.783779.
Between midnight and 2:00 a.m., Russian monitoring channels reported drone movements toward the Kerch district.
The depot has a small tank farm, consisting of seven storage tanks of various sizes. Their exact capacities are not publicly reported.
Crimea is currently facing sustained attacks on its oil and gas infrastructure, which remains one of the priority targets.
These strikes are intended to reduce the combat effectiveness of the Russian military, which uses the temporarily occupied peninsula as a rear base for the concentration, support, and rotation of troops.
On the night of May 30, the 412th Nemesis Unmanned Systems Brigade struck an oil depot in Feodosia.
The attack was carried out using Ukrainian-made FP-1/2 kamikaze drones, with hits recorded on at least three fuel storage tanks containing petroleum products.
Additionally, in April 2026, the Prymary (Ghosts) special unit of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine launched a series of strikes on Russian railway logistics in temporarily occupied Crimea.
The attacks targeted locomotives used by Russian forces to transport equipment, ammunition, and fuel.
At least one railway tanker was also hit during these strikes.
