DIU’s Operation in the Black Sea: a Boat, Radar and Enemy Personnel Destroyed

In August 2025, the Special Forces of the Active Operations Department of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine conducted a successful naval operation against the forces of the Russian invaders.

This was reported on the DIU’s Telegram channel, which also published a video of the combat mission.

The raid was carried out using FPV drones and other unmanned aerial vehicles, which allowed the Ukrainian forces to act as efficiently as possible and without losses.

The attack destroyed a BL-680 boat used by the Russians for patrolling and logistics.

The Harpoon-B radar station and the Groza electronic warfare station were also eliminated, which significantly weakened the enemy’s ability to detect and counter Ukrainian forces.

In addition, the Special Forces destroyed four antenna-feeder devices that provided communication and navigation for the occupation forces.

According to available data, the operation also resulted in losses among enemy personnel. The number of eliminated occupants was not disclosed.
