AFU drones destroyed the Russian UR-83P MICLIC in the Bakhmut direction

FPV drones of the 59th Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed the Russian UR-83P Mine Clearing Line Charge in the Bakhmut direction.

Mykhailo Fedorov, Minister of Digital Transformation, reported this.

He also released a video of the Ukrainian Pegasus loitering munition being operated on these installations.

The Russians used UR-83P to clear minefields for the offensive and destroy the covers of Ukrainian soldiers.

Kamikaze drones were purchased as part of the Army of Drones project. In this direction, they were controlled by the operators of the 59th Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“The “Army of Drones” works: 59th Motorized Brigade and powerful Pegasus kamikaze drones. “Birds” purchased thanks to your donations through United 24 foundation,” Fedorov wrote in the description of the released video.

The Deputy Prime Minister summed up that the Russian UR-83P mine-clearing line charge turned into a “bunch of junk” after the Pegasus loitering munition hit.

The Pegasus loitering munitions are currently used by units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard, and the Security Service of Ukraine. These are quadcopters that equip munitions and turn them into kamikaze drones. They destroy the manpower of the Russian invaders and their military equipment.

UR-83P

UR-83P is the mine-clearing line charge used to create a breach in minefields under combat conditions.

The system consists of a guidepost, an anchor device, two cassettes with 22 sections of a DKRP-4 line charge, two DM-70 rocket propellants, two brake ropes, a detonation transmission unit, a fuze, a connecting cable, a starting device, and spares.

The Army of Drones is a project that includes the systematic purchase of drones, their repair and maintenance, and, if necessary, the operational replacement of the UAVs and a pilot training course.

In August last year, the military received the first unmanned systems of various classes to meet the needs of the Defense Forces of Ukraine through this project.
