On the night of April 26, a Russian Ka-32 multipurpose helicopter was destroyed at Moscow’s Ostafyevo military airfield.

The press service of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine reported on this.

The airfield belongs to the Russian Ministry of Defense and is operated jointly with GAZPROMAVIA, a part of PJSC Gazprom.

The destroyed helicopter was used by the Russian Federation in the interests of the Moscow aviation center, in particular, to support the operations of the Russian invasion army.

The released footage shows how the saboteurs set fire to the cabin, after which a serious fire breaks out.

Most likely, the helicopter is out of commission due to burnout of avionics and controls, and its further restoration is impractical.

Sabotage on the territory of Russia

As previously reported, a Russian Mi-8 multi-purpose helicopter used to transport personnel and weapons was destroyed in Samara.

It is reported that the helicopter had been destroyed on April 17 at the Kryazh Air Base in the city of Samara.

The released footage captures the rear part of the fuselage on fire, and flames on board the helicopter.

As previously reported, the Russian Serpukhov corvette, deployed in the Baltic Sea, was damaged by a fire on board.

The fire inside the missile ship completely destroyed its communications and automation equipment. The Defense Intelligence of Ukraine stated that it would take a long time to restore the ship’s combat capability.

In addition, the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine also presented a fragment of the structural plan of a Project 21631 Buyan-M corvette, which belongs to the same class as the Serpukhov ship, indicating the source of the fire. It originated in a cabin opposite the compartment of the 3S-14 launching system.
