Ukrainian Drones Destroy Two S-300 Launchers and Pantsir Air Defense System of Unknown Modification

Ukraine’s Defense Forces destroyed two launchers of the S-300 air defense system and a Pantsir surface-to-air missile and gun system (SAMG) of an unknown modification.

Satellite imagery of the damage was published by the Absolutely Reliable Source Telegram channel.

The drone attack took place on September 4, after which a fire broke out near a Russian air defense position.

The Russian position was located near the settlement of Sirius, on the border with occupied Abkhazia, near the Psou River.

The unknown modification of the Pantsir air defense system is likely related to a new batch of systems in the Pantsir-SMD configuration produced by the High-Precision Systems holding.

On the night of September 4, Ukrainian drones also attacked Sochi, hitting, according to preliminary information, two oil depots — Rosneft’s Adler oil depot and a Lukoil facility.

On September 6, Ukraine’s Defense Forces destroyed Russian Ka-52 and Mi-28 attack helicopters and also hit a Mi-8 family multirole helicopter at Sochi International Airport.
