2B9 «Vasyliok» mortars to receive Ukrainian made barrels

State Enterprise «Design Bureau «Artillery Systems» (KBAO) launched manufacturing of KBA.152 barrels for 2B9 «Vasyliok» 82mm automatic mortars, reports Ukrainian Military Portal.

KBA. 152 barrel was presented at the Arms & Security 2019 exhibition.

Caliber: 82mm
Weight: 38.5kg

Current status of the testing is yet unknown. 2B9M breech-loaded mortar features fully automatic breech opening, shell loading and chambering, locking and firing. The mortar is capable of single and automatic fire with the rate of 170 rounds per minute. Combat rate of fire is 100-120 rounds per minute. The mortar is clip fed.
