Kyiv has opened its first specialized business center, which will serve as a permanent platform for developing industrial cooperation between defense companies in Ukraine and the United Kingdom.

The report comes from the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine.

The center was established with the support of the British government as part of the centennial partnership between the two countries and with the participation of the British National Armaments Director Group.

The main mission of the Kyiv Business Centre is to facilitate British companies’ entry into the Ukrainian market, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises, for which security requirements and administrative procedures previously made it difficult to operate in Ukraine.

The defense hub will provide foreign manufacturers with the opportunity to interact with Ukrainian government agencies, the innovation sector, and investors, as well as to obtain information about the current needs of the front lines.

The center’s work focuses on three key areas: industry, innovation, and investment, which will include joint development, securing funding, and scaling up production.

The British Audere Group, in a consortium with AMS Global Solutions and Hillmont Partners, has become the operator of the platform.
