FPV drone operators of the 225th Separate Assault Battalion destroyed the newest Russian T-90M Proryv tank near Chasiv Yar in the Donetsk region.
The press service of the battalion reported on this.
The video shows an abandoned combat vehicle likely being destroyed by a precise drone strike on the roof of the turret.
“At this rate, the Russians will soon unseal their T-34s and, with the slogan ‘Hurrah!’, will try to take down our FPV drones [with these tanks],” commented the battalion.
Previously, the soldiers of the Ukrainian 225th Assault Battalion captured and evacuated the T-90M Proryv main battle tank, abandoned by the Russians, to the rear.
The Proryv tank was struck in the engine and transmission compartment, so the tank could not move on its own.
Over the past 8 months, other brigades have reportedly made 12 attempts to pull the tank to the rear. During these attempts, they managed to move the vehicle but failed in its full evacuation.
The trophy tank was handed over to the 10th Department of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine for research.
Militarnyi previously reported that operators of FPV drones of the Strike Drones Company of the 47th Mechanized Brigade destroyed another Russian T-90M Proryv main battle tank.
The tank was driven into a crater by a Russian guided missile and couldn’t get out.
The crew left the tank and began to flee, followed by a kamikaze drone, but one of the Russian soldiers managed to shoot down the drone with an assault rifle.
Despite the damage, the FPV drone’s warhead went off and inflicted a fragmentary wound on the Russian invader.
After an attempt to pursue the crew, the drone operators of the Strike Drones Company completely destroyed the enemy tank with an accurate strike.
