The operators of the 73rd Maritime Special Operations Center of the Armed Forces of Ukraine located the position of Russian troops and an ammunition depot in southern Ukraine.

This information was provided by the press service of the Special Operations Forces.

The Special Operations Forces struck the targets using FPV drones, drones equipped with a payload drop system, and 122-mm D-30 howitzers.

As a result of the fire damage, the caponiers with ammunition and the location of enemy personnel were destroyed.

Three Russian soldiers were reportedly killed and five wounded.

Combat missions of the 73rd Maritime Special Operations Center

At the beginning of April, Militarnyi reported that the operators of the 73rd Maritime Special Operations Center of the Armed Forces of Ukraine used HIMARS to target the invaders who were constructing fortifications.

During reconnaissance operations in the southern sector, SOF discovered enemy personnel constructing new fortifications and control posts.

The operators transmitted the coordinates for the strike to the missile-artillery unit and adjusted the fire toward the enemy position.

It is reported that, as a result of the strike, 14 Russian servicemen died and 7 were injured.

According to the interface, target detection and artillery adjustment were carried out by the Ukrainian Shark reconnaissance drone.

Combat missions of the Special Operations Forces

It was recently reported that the operators of the Special Operations Center “East” (former 3rd Special Forces Regiment) of the SOF of the Armed Forces of Ukraine targeted a kamikaze drone at a vehicle from the R-378B automated jamming station of the Borisoglebsk-2 electronic warfare system.

The target was reportedly detected by a reconnaissance drone in the Donetsk sector.

A kamikaze drone, the model of which is not disclosed, struck the enemy combat vehicle.
