A Russian Murmansk-BN electronic warfare station was struck on the night of July 27, near Cape Fiolent in occupied Crimea.
This was reported by the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine. The operation was carried out by soldiers from the Unmanned Systems Department.
Ukrainian intelligence officers tracked down the Russian equipment on the peninsula and subsequently struck it.
Murmansk-BN is designed to conduct radio reconnaissance, intercept, and jam signals in the shortwave band with a range of up to 5,000 km.
The system is capable of jamming communication lines and operational-strategic-level command-and-control systems.
On the night of July 26, operators of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine destroyed components of the Russian S-400 Triumph air defense missile system on the territory of Crimea.
As a result of the operation, Ukrainian reconnaissance forces struck and destroyed a launcher, as well as a 96L6 radar station.
