In their attempts to seize Western armored vehicles, Russian invaders are dying en masse under the fire of the Ukrainian military.

Despite numerous statements by Russian propagandists about the imperfections of Western tanks, Russia has a significant interest in them. This is due to both a demonstration of its own success and a desire to explore Western technologies.

To get the coveted trophy, the Russian military sends its soldiers on risky missions, which often ends in death.

This situation is well demonstrated by the video released by Company Group Team, which shows snipers shooting at Russian infantrymen who were trying to get close to an abandoned Ukrainian Leopard 2A6 near Stepove.

During this episode alone, the unit’s shooters killed five Russians who were trying to approach the damaged tank.

A similar episode took place on March 17 near Kreminna, where Russian invaders managed to get into an abandoned Stridsvagn 122 (a Swedish modification of the Leopard 2A5 tank).

To pull the 62-ton vehicle from the battlefield, Russians used two BREM-1 armored recovery vehicles to pull it together. That’s when they were hit by FPV drones.

The footage shows how a hit to the engine immobilizes both tractors and sets them on fire. The crews managed to escape, but their equipment and the Ukrainian tank remained in the field.

However, the coveted trophy for Russians is not only the Leopard tanks, but also the American M1 Abrams tanks, which are glorified in Russian propaganda.

On March 20, Russian officers sent an entire special forces unit to film a video inside an abandoned tank that had been hit earlier in the month near Berdychiv. After filming the video, they immediately abandoned the vehicle and retreated.

However, behind such successful actions are also those that ended in a number of deaths from Ukrainian artillery and drones. The video below shows six Russians killed who were unlucky enough.

It is worth noting that all the tanks shown were not destroyed despite numerous attacks. It is highly likely that if the Ukrainian Forces advance, they will be returned and repaired.
