Soldiers of the 68th “Oleksa Dovbush” Jaeger Brigade discussed the experience of using the MaxxPro MRAP armored fighting vehicle.

The press service of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published the video.

“The task is set – we are moving out. The machine gunners are pressing the enemy with fire, while the grenade launcher operators are adding to the attack from the hatch. When the back door opens, we land and assault,” Oleksii, a soldier with the 68th Jaeger Brigade, described the daily fierce battles.

The Brigade’s soldiers note the speed, maneuverability, and power of the MaxxPro.

Due to its specifications, the armored vehicle can perform a variety of tasks during defense and offense.

The Ukrainian servicemen appreciate this armored vehicle primarily for its high mobility and powerful protection.

“There were times when several mortar units were working against us. Mines fell right next to the car, but we continued moving,” the soldier shared.

The vehicle’s two-layer armor can withstand machine gun fire and shrapnel from mortar and artillery shells, and even a direct hit by a tank shell.

“This vehicle is the best at withstanding shelling and hits. Its armor is better than BMP or BMD. It is really very safe. My vehicle was recently hit by a tank. And although the next shot destroyed the armored vehicle, I, along with the paratroopers, managed to leave the vehicle and take shelter in a rut, left in the dirt. Now, I have received a new MaxxPro and continue to perform combat missions,” a military driver named Vasyl shared.

An armored capsule with troops demonstrated its ability to withstand detonation when it collides with an anti-tank mine or other explosive weapons.

“There were cases when we ran into a mine: only the chassis was damaged. There were also special wheels installed here, which do not sit on the disc when punctured or pierced by fragments and give the opportunity to keep on driving for another 100-150 kilometers,” Vasyl continued.
