Units of the 225th Assault Regiment stopped a Russian motorcycle assault attempt in the Zaporizhzhia region.
The unit’s press service released a video showing the attack being fought off.
Russian forces used off-road motorcycles to approach the regiment’s positions for combat. However, a reconnaissance drone spotted them during their advance and tracked them the entire way.
In total, the enemy used six motorcycles and an open Ural truck, without any anti-drone or additional protection.
Despite this attempt, they failed to complete their attack plan and were eliminated by FPV drones operated by the regiment.
It is worth noting that the 225th Assault Regiment is currently holding the defensive line in the Huliaipole area of the Zaporizhzhia region. Russian forces have repeatedly attempted to break through the Ukrainian defenders’ positions; however, so far they have not succeeded.
Militarnyi previously reported that in early March, Russian forces from the recently redeployed 40th Guards Naval Infantry Brigade launched an unsuccessful mechanized assault on positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces in the Huliaipole sector.
