The Ukrainian Defense Forces struck Russian military positions near the temporarily occupied town of Khrustalnyi in the Luhansk region.
NASA’s FIRMS satellite monitoring data detected fires near a former motor transport facility and an industrial zone.
Three separate fires were detected at the strike site. They started at 01:10 a.m., and by 02:07 a.m., the fires had spread.
The same area was also struck on June 16, 2022, when an ammunition depot was hit. Local residents subsequently reported hearing secondary detonations.
The facility served as a key logistics hub for Russia’s 2nd Army Corps, supporting its offensive operations towardSievierodonetsk and Lysychansk.
In addition, the Ukrainian Defense Forces are targeting storage facilities holding surface-to-air missiles for air defense systems, as well as other depots used by Russian forces to supply their troops in Ukraine.
In March 2026, the Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed a storage facility containing surface-to-air missiles near the Russian-occupied town of Dovzhansk in the Luhansk region.
The facility is located at coordinates 48.101990, 39.670564, approximately 150 kilometers from the current line of contact.
Ukraine’s Defense Forces are carrying out massive strikes in the area of occupied Khrustalnyi in Luhansk Oblast. Three separate fire hotspots and a large-scale blaze have been reported.
According to local residents, a site housing Russian troops was hit. https://t.co/A8RHtuKY5i

Militarnyi previously reported that, during Operation Vivaldi, Ukraine’s 3rd Army Corps destroyed a pipeline that supplied 50% of Russian forces’ diesel fuel needs in the Luhansk region.
The destruction of the pipeline triggered a logistical crisis for the entire Russian West military grouping.
Russian fuel tankers are now forced to travel a 400-kilometer route to Russia to replenish their fuel supplies.
