Ukrainian military showcased captured Iranian “Mohajer-6” UAV

The Ukrainian military showcased the captured modern Iranian “Mohajer-6” attack drone.

Photos featuring the trophy were released on social media.

This drone was neutralized over the Black Sea in September 2022.

“On September 23, the anti-aircraft units of the Air Force Command” South “of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine shot down the Iranian-made “Mohajer-6” multirole strike UAV,” the servicemen said.

The “Mohajer-6” multirole UAV is designed to conduct reconnaissance, surveillance, reconnaissance and strikes.

UAV is capable of carrying up to four guided ammunition.

The Iranian drone has a fixed tri-prop landing gear that retracts after takeoff. The system provides automatic take-off and landing.

The UAV has a maximum takeoff weight of 600 kg, a payload of 100 kg and a flight range of 200 km.

The Iranian drone has an engine by Rotax Aircraft Engines. The maximum flight speed of “Mohajer-6” is 200 km/h, the duration of the flight is 12 hours, and the maximum flight altitude is 5,400 meters.

The UAV is equipped with a multispectral sensored camera, as well as a laser rangefinder and two suspensions: one under each wing. The captured drone was carrying Ghaem-5 aerial bombs.

In another modification, the drone has 4 suspensions: 2 under each wing. They carry missiles and bombs.

In late August, the United States reported that Russia had received Iranian combat drones that it could deploy on the battlefield in Ukraine.
