Ukrainian strike drones targeted the Rezonit plant in the Moscow region, a facility that manufactures circuit boards and electronics.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the plant’s products are used to produce advanced Russian weapons and military equipment.
The attack on this key site of the aggressor’s military industry took place during the night of June 12. Units of Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces executed it in coordination with other branches of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
This operation is part of a strategic effort to weaken the enemy’s ability to produce cutting-edge, high-tech weaponry.
It is reported that explosions were recorded on the territory of the Rezonit Technopark, located in the village of Zubovo, Klinsky district of the Moscow region, as a result of the strike.
“This is a plant for serial production and assembly of printed circuit boards and electronics. Its products are widely used to manufacture high-tech weapons and equipment,” the General Staff stated.
The results of the strike on the Russian facility are currently being clarified.
At night, a video allegedly showing a drone strike on the Rezonit plant was published on the Supernova+ Telegram channel.
In a short video from an eyewitness, the sound of a drone flying by can be heard, followed by an explosion, the flash of which is also captured on camera. The video’s author narrates off-screen, confirming the drone strike.
On the night of June 11, strike drones attacked a Russian gunpowder plant in the city of Kotovsk, Tambov region.
This facility is one of the largest gunpowder manufacturers in Russia and specializes in producing nitrocellulose-based smokeless powders and related products for both military and civilian use.
