Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out a missile strike targeting sites in Russian-occupied Donetsk and Yasynuvata, according to local Telegram channels.

Explosions were reported in central Donetsk and near the railway infrastructure in Yasynuvata.

Residents said they heard the sound of jet engines prior to the blasts, though the type of weapon used has not been confirmed.

The strike comes shortly after Ukrainian forces reportedly used Peklo cruise missile drones to hit a vehicle crossing near Luhansk.

Russian sources said the strike targeted a bridge over the Aydar River and damaged a nearby pumping station.

Drone strikes caused unspecified damage to the pumping station building and reportedly “destroyed” the crossing.
