The SSU prevented an attempt of bringing the military equipment out to Russia

Ukrainian Special Services prevented the transfer of military equipment components to Russia.

The Security Service of Ukraine in the Cherkasy region reported that the cargo bound for the aggressor country was detained.

In the Cherkasy region, the SSU located and detained a truck carrying military equipment components worth almost $100,000.

The truck was transporting “purchase orders” to Russia from the Donetsk region.

The special services noted that the equipment components were intended for the manufacture of Russian military equipment.

During the transportation, the cargo was trying to hide, thus it was moving through an indirect route.

The SSU managed to locate the truck and detain it in the Cherkasy region.

“During the inspection of the cargo, spare parts worth almost $100 000 were uncovered. The seized equipment components were intended for the needs of the aircraft, shipbuilding, and other industries in Russia,” reads the statement.

The seized components were nationalized and sent to one of the enterprises of the military industry of Ukraine. Now, the equipment will be working for the defense of our state.
