Singapore prepares assistance package for Ukraine

Ukraine will receive 9 ambulances, 2 fire trucks, and mine detectors from Singapore.

The Ambassador of Ukraine to Singapore Kateryna Zelenko announced this on Twitter.

“9 ambulances, 2 fire engines, an assortment of firefighting protective gear, rescue equipment, mine detectors and medical supplies.

This assistance package was put together by the Ministry of Home Affairs of Singapore and the Ministry of Defence to support Ukraine. Thank you, Singapore!” Ambassador Kateryna Zelenko wrote.

As previously reported, the Italian Fire and Rescue Service supplied Ukrainian first responders with 45 units of special equipment.

Firefighting vehicles have already arrived in Ukraine and will be shipped to different regions of the country.

Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Meri Akopyan noted that the vehicles will be distributed among the garrisons of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and will serve a good cause.

Italian firefighting vehicles will promptly replace Ukrainian rescue equipment destroyed by Russian invaders.

The delivery of firefighting vehicles has been coordinated by the EU Civil Protection Mechanism.

The firefighting vehicles have also made a stop in the EU logistics hub in Slovakia.
