A Ukrainian long-range drone struck hangars at the Protasovo air base in the Ryazan region.

According to preliminary data, the target of the attack was infrastructure at the facility related to the development and production of unmanned aerial vehicles.

Analysts of the Dossye Shpiona group reported that a research and production center for the development and manufacture of UAVs operates on the air base’s territory.

One of the air base’s employees filmed the moment of the attack on a mobile phone.

A long-range FP-1 drone of the Ukrainian Fire Point company was used for the strike.

In order to reach the target, the drone had to travel over 500 kilometers.

The FP-1 is designed to strike strategic targets deep within enemy territory at a range of up to 1,600 kilometers and is capable of carrying a payload weighing up to 113 kilograms.
