Russian invaders on the administrative border between Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions hit mines and drowned two tanks and three armored personnel carriers.

Ukrainian drones from the 46th Airmobile Brigade recorded the failed crossing. A video by serviceman Serhii Lukashov shows the enemy vehicles getting stuck in the river, after which Ukrainian FPV drones finish them off.

According to a soldier from the brigade, the Russians attempted the crossing under heavy fog to avoid detection from the air. However, Ukrainian reconnaissance had already identified the likely direction of the attack.

The river crossing site was heavily mined, so the armored vehicles detonated as soon as they entered the water and got stuck in the mud, becoming easy targets for attack drones.

The Russian attack was launched from the occupied village of Yalta in the Donetsk region. The enemy attempted to break through to the positions of Ukrainian paratroopers near the village of Filiya in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

For the assault, Russian forces used T-72B3 tanks – a modernized version of the Soviet T-72 equipped with additional protective cages against drones.

Ukrainian soldiers note that, thanks to the precision of intelligence operations and the effective use of FPV drones, another enemy attempt to advance in this direction was thwarted.
