In December, the average daily supply of interceptor drones procured by the Defense Procurement Agency reached almost 950 units.

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine said that the Agency has already begun procuring weapons and equipment, including anti-shahid UAVs, for 2026.

Providing the military with interceptor drones has become a priority for the Defense Procurement Agency.

Such drones are used to protect military and civilian infrastructure from drone attacks, in particular during massive raids by strike UAVs.

“We are systematically working with the market to ensure the continuity and completeness of the supply of these vehicles. Thus, as of December, we have contracts with more than 10 manufacturers of such drones,” Arsen Zhumadilov, Director of the Defense Procurement Agency, shared.

In addition, tactical-level interceptor drones have been integrated into the DOT-Chain Defense IT system.

As a result, combat brigades directly at the front were able to independently choose the necessary means to counter enemy reconnaissance and attack drones, such as Orlan or Zala.
