The Ukrainian company Martyn Tech has developed a new heavy drone bomber, the Adis quadcopter, created at the request of the military.

The drone was named after a serviceman of the 72nd Mechanized Brigade with the call sign Adis, who was killed in June 2022 in the Donetsk region, the company told Militarnyi.

A key feature of the heavy quadcopter is its ability to operate via satellite communication. This removes limitations imposed by the radio horizon and allows operators to conduct missions from a safe distance.

The combat radius of the drone is 20 km with a 10 kg payload, and flight endurance is about one hour. During testing, Adis exceeded these figures, carrying a 12 kg payload over 20 km and transporting a 3 kg load over 50 km.

Thanks to its modular design, the platform can be quickly reconfigured for different mission types. The drone is capable of strike operations, including munition drops, remote mining, and cargo delivery to positions.

Its cruising speed is 65 km/h, and operational altitude is 400 meters. The quadcopter is equipped with a dual camera system, allowing object detection at distances of up to 600 meters during the day and up to 150 meters at night.

The Ukrainian drone bomber has already passed official codification. It is expected to become available for order soon on the Brave1 Market and DOT-Chain Defence platforms.
