The Israeli Air Force has struck the Khojir complex in Iran, a facility involved in ballistic missile production.
Photos and videos capturing a large explosion and fire at the site confirm the strike.
The facility is used to produce Iran’s latest medium-range ballistic missiles, including the Haj Qasem, as well as other missile types.
Khojir is located near Iran’s capital, Tehran, at coordinates 35°41’37.14″N 51°36’40.27″E.
Key infrastructure at the site includes planetary mixers — large industrial machines used to mix solid rocket fuel components – essential for producing solid missile fuel. Global powers tightly control the export of such equipment, and the loss of these machines could significantly slow Iran’s missile manufacturing.
Iran does not produce planetary mixers domestically and would need to seek replacements from countries such as China or Russia.
Israeli sources said the complex was involved in the development and production of Iranian ballistic missiles. The damage is expected to affect the combat readiness of Iran’s missile forces and may undermine Tehran’s potential plans to supply missiles to Russia.
This is not the first reported strike on the Khojir facility. In a previous attack in October 2024, Israeli aircraft reportedly destroyed 12 planetary mixers and a battery of S-300 air defense systems.
Militarnyi previously reported that Israeli forces also targeted Iran’s uranium enrichment facility in Natanz, a key site in the country’s nuclear program.
Iranian officials claimed the facility’s underground components were not damaged and that only above-ground structures were affected.
The state-run Mehr news agency, citing the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, reported that while some parts of the site were damaged, the strategic infrastructure remained intact.
