Satellite images have confirmed that Special Operations Forces successfully struck NOVATEK’s Purovsky Gas Condensate Processing Plant (GCPP) with drones.
The strike has been confirmed by CyberBoroshno analysts.
The facility is located near the town of Tarko-Sale in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, more than 3,000 km from Ukraine’s state border.
The drone attack took place as part of Special Operations Forces, during which the Urengoy condensate processing plant was also struck.
As a result of the attack, the liquefied hydrocarbon gas drying unit at coordinates 65.086866, 77.816655 was struck.
This unit is used to remove residual water and methanol from the product and to bring the quality of liquefied hydrocarbon gases up to the standards required for their subsequent storage, transportation, and export.
The Purovsky Gas Condensate Processing Plant is one of NOVATEK’s key facilities, as it serves as the central link in the company’s gas condensate processing system; NOVATEK is Russia’s second-largest natural gas producer.
