In the Belgorod region, Chechen soldiers eliminate the Russian military

On the territory of the Russian Federation in the Belgorod region, a subversive reconnaissance unit shot a truck with the Russian servicemen.

A video of the operation was published by the press service of the Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

“Chechen warriors continue to fight with the Russian invaders, protecting the Ukrainian and Chechen peoples,” the press service of the DIU wrote.

According to the representatives of the DIU, during the operation the military equipment was destroyed and personnel of the Russian troops were eliminated.

The video shows how a Ural-4320 truck marked by the Russian army is ambushed by a Chechen unit and meets heavy fire from firearms. After numerous hits, it rolls to the side of the road and crashes into a tree.

When examining the cabin in detail by one of the soldiers, the killed crew is seen in the cabin.

Later, Russian security officials published a video showing uncensored the consequences of the attack and additional details that did not fall into the video of the DIU.

Due to it, it became known that two Russian soldiers were in the car during the trip: the driver and the vehicle commander. They returned after the delivery of food, presumably, the transfer of rations to the military at the border positions.

According to the author of the video, the car was moving along the road near the border settlement of Sereda, Shebekinsky district, Belgorod region. Subsequently, it was possible to identify the exact location of the ambush (here).

The author notes that the incident took place on July 15, 2023, which was two days before the publication of the video by the DIU. This statement is somewhat strange, because both publications and reports from Russian sources began to appear on July 17. The author of the video may have been mistaken.

This is not the first incident with the appearance of paramilitaries in the border territories of the Russian Federation. Earlier it was reported that the tanks of the anti-government formation “Freedom of Russia” entered the territory of the region.

As volunteers note, they did not meet special obstacles or fortifications on the Russian border.
