Great Britain handed over an additional batch of winter equipment to the Ukrainian military

Great Britain continues providing assistance to the Ukrainian military.

Soldiers of the Defense Forces of Ukraine are undergoing training under Operation INTERFLEX and immediately receiving sets of winter uniforms.

The UK Ministry of Defence announced this.

“Ukrainian recruits training in the UK are issued kits in preparation for their return to Ukraine, where they will fight to free their nation. As the temperature plummets, recruits are given cold weather clothing in addition to the regular kits,” the report said.

They also released photos featuring Ukrainian military personnel with the equipment. The amount of gear transferred was not reported.

In addition, the Ministry of Defense of the United Kingdom demonstrated the shoes that Ukrainian defenders are receiving. It has been clarified in this case that 1,000 military personnel from Ukraine received Altberg boots.

The UK is providing 1000s of Ukrainian recruits with Altberg boots.

It was noted that small and medium-sized businesses play an important role in supplying the military of Great Britain and Ukraine.

“The Ministry of Defense is celebrating the vital role smaller companies like Altberg play in supplying kitі to UK Armed Forces and Ukrainian allies,” the statement said.

As previously reported, back in the fall, Great Britain announced the transfer of 25,000 sets of winter uniforms to Ukraine. The extreme cold weather kits are supplemental to more than 7,000 sets distributed to recruits through Operation Interflex.

The Government of the United Kingdom will also provide winter tents and sleeping bags to the Ukrainian military.

At the beginning of November, the Ministry of Defense of the United Kingdom announced the transfer of winter uniforms, individual first-aid kits, and protective kits to Ukrainian defenders.
