Following a Ukrainian strike, the headquarters of the Russian Black Sea Fleet aviation in Sevastopol burned down in occupied Crimea.
Analysts from the Crimean Wind group published a photo of the burned building.
The headquarters was likely struck with Storm Shadow cruise missiles on May 27 at around 05:00 a.m.
At the same time, reports appeared of Russian air defense systems operating.
“A few hours ago, large black bags were being loaded onto the Ural in the courtyard of the headquarters. Either belongings and documents, or those who were in the building at the time of the hit,” the Crimean Wind group reported.
The strike on the temporary headquarters followed an earlier attack on the main headquarters building of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol on September 22, 2023.
At that time, Ukrainian forces also used Storm Shadow missiles with a 450 kg warhead.
