Today, on August 28, loud explosions are heard on the southwestern coast of the temporarily occupied Crimea.

A series of powerful explosions thundered near Cape Fiolent.

According to the so-called “governor” of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev, an air defense system reacted in Sevastopol.

Occupation authorities said an unmanned aircraft was shot down over the sea.

Local groups on social media also reported 10 explosions in Kozacha Bay, which is also located near Sevastopol.

Earlier today, explosions were heard in the area of Russian-occupied Alupka and Simeiz.

Local social media groups reported “air defense work” and, at the same time, the start of a fire in the forest.

Later, the Russian Emergencies Ministry stated that the smoke near Simeiz turned out to be a “leaf outbreak,” and the fire was suppressed.

Recently, a number of explosions have occurred in Crimea at several military facilities at once, including at Saki AB.

As a result of such explosions, part of the entire Black Sea Fleet of Russia was destroyed or disabled.

Russian authorities announced the downing of drones and the operation of air defense, but did not provide any confirmation of their words.

Social media users often publish videos of what they believe can be called Russian air defense work.
