The VATAG multifunctional 8×8 ground robotic vehicle, developed by the Ukrainian company of the same name, has passed field trials.

According to the company, during the tests, it reached a speed of 42 km/h.

The platform can carry over 2 metric tons of payload.

The UGV is designed to perform a wide range of tasks—from logistical support for units to participation in combat operations.

The developers first presented this system in September 2025. The vehicle is equipped with a hybrid powertrain.

Among the VATAG platform’s additional capabilities is the ability to function as a mobile power bank to supply power to unit equipment.
